Nippon Airline struck by lighting in Osaka - AMAZING

Spectacular shot of an All Nippon Airline being struck by lightning in Osaka .
Amazing that the aircraft itself and the people and equipment inside can survive such a hit
!

Even more amazing that there was someone to film it in real time!!

This is in normal time

This is in slow motion

This is a still photo just on initiation of the bolt..

Notice the ground and air bolt feeder strike at the same time.

My India..............................................

The rising sun warms a train of domesticated elephants headed for a bath. Keepers cleanse the animals in the Gandak River at Sonpur, India.

Pilgrims bathe in the sacred waters of Kadil Dhara waterfall, at the headwaters of the Narmada River. Hindus revere the river and consider it second only to the Ganges in significance.

Photo: Minara Mosque
Evening crowds pack the streets adjoining Mumbai's Minara Mosque, at the center of the city's largest Muslim quarter.

Happy Indian girls display hands decorated by the art of henna. The temporary tattoos are made from vegetable-based dyes.

Ganges River ghats are sacred ground to many Hindus, who descend their steps to bathe in "Mother Ganga's" cleansing waters.

The fruits of Kashmiri agriculture are on display in Srinagar. Vendors jostle on the waters of Dal Lake in hopes of a prime spot.

The view from Rajasthan's Kumbhalgarh Fort tempts a langur monkey to linger on the walls and enjoy a moment of leisure.

Photo: Snake Charmer
A New Delhi snake charmer and his cobra enact an ancient ritual that has become less common on India's streets. Wildlife protection laws and more modern entertainments have put many charmers out of business.

Traffic of the two- and three-wheeled variety dominates a Delhi street.

Nandi the bull enjoys a drink of curried milk, provided by a priest at Brihadishwara temple. Nandi is the mount of the mighty Hindi god Shiva.

The Taj Mahal rises on the shore of the Yamuna River. Though the waterway faithfully reflects the building's beauty, it has become one of the most polluted rivers in India.

Pilgrims file past a reflecting pool to visit the legendary Taj Mahal. This "poem in stone," was created by the 17th-century Mogul ruler Shah Jehan in memory of his favorite wife.

One of Orissa's most famous temples, Lingaraja Temple, draws both pilgrims and tourists to Bhubaneshwar. The Shiva shrine was built around 1000 A.D.

A TAMIL movie scene .......

A part of an Indian movie :

Our hero Balakrishna and his brother were captured by the baddies and they tied Balakrishna onto a chair...Those idiots didnt know that Balakrishna cannot be stopped by a simple chair...

Here is our hero's brother...The baddies tied him up too and fixed a time-bomb across his stomach...The bomb looks more like a pack of sausage rolls..hehee..

Balakrishna sees some bullet shells lying on the floor...This means that the baddies had a gun...But they decided to use a time-bomb to give the 'finishing touch'...This is what i call 'Innovative Thinking'...

The shells triggered Balakrishna's brain (if any) and suddenly he has an idea...He throws himself onto the floor and starts moving towards the bullet shells...

Now, lets hv a look at the time-bomb...The timer(presumably a pager covered in plastic) is ticking...See the weird buttons on the bomb??...The red button is the On-Off button!!...Now, this is the world's first time-bomb with such a convenient on-off button...This is what i call a 'User-friendly Time-bomb'...Very easy to handle...Can b used even by infants...

Coming back to our hero, he is struggling to reach the shells...Look at his _expression...Seems like he is desperate to use the toilet!!...

Finally, he manages to reach the shells...He picks up a shell with his mouth as if it is Kappalandi...The viewers have no idea what the hell he is up to...Read on...

He concentrates with the shell between his teeth...Look at the sweat on his face...Gives an impression of how hard he is concentrating...With all his strength, he spits the bullet shell towards the bomb...

Loo and behold!!..The shell flies like a bullet through the air...Credit goes to Balakrishna here...He has the ability to make a shell work like a bullet...He can be a good asset to the Indian army...The shell reaches the time-bomb and hits exactly the green button!!...The time-bomb gets switched off!!...Balakrishna saves himself and his brother!!...

Heheheheheh:-)

One Of The Best Illusions I Have Ever Seen

Are these items moving? Or are they perfectly still??

One teacher said, "I felt like they were all moving... but slowly. Kind of like, they were breathing."

The pictures attached are used to test the level of stress a person can handle.

The slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress.

Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly;
however, senior citizens and kids see them standing still.
None of these images are animated - they are perfectly
still.

The Story Of Your Life

The Story Of Your Life

Don't say you're not important,
It simply isn't true,
The fact that you were born,
Is proof, God has a plan for you.

The path may seem unclear right now,
But one day you will see,
That all that came before,
Was truly meant to be.

God wrote the book that is your life,
That's all you need to know.
Each day that you are living,
Was written long ago.

God only writes best sellers,
So be proud of who you are,
Your character is important,
In this book you are the Star.

Enjoy the novel as it reads,
It will stand throughout the ages,
Savor each chapter as you go,
Taking time to turn the pages

Life's Little Instruction Book

Life's Little Instruction Book

Have a firm handshake.
Look people in the eye.

Sing in the shower.
Own a great stereo system.

If in a fight, hit first and hit hard.
Keep secrets.
Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen everyday.
Always accept an outstretched hand.

Be brave.

Even if you're not, pretend to be.

No one can tell the difference.

Avoid sarcastic remarks.

Choose your life's mate carefully.

From this one decision will come 90 per cent of all your happiness or misery.

Make it a habit to do nice things for people
who will never find out.

Lend only those books you never care to see again.

Never deprive someone of hope;

it might be all that they have.

When playing games with children, let them win.

Give people a second chance, but not a third.

Be romantic.

Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.
Loosen up. Relax. Except for rare life-and-death matters,

nothing is as important as it first seems.
Don't allow the phone to interrupt important moments.

It's there for your convenience, not the caller's.

Be a good loser.
Be a good winner.
Think twice before burdening a friend with a secret.
When someone hugs you, let them be the first to let go.

Keep it simple. Be modest.

A lot was accomplished before you were born.
Beware of the person who has nothing to lose.
Don't burn bridges.

You'll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river.
Live your life so that your epitaph could read, No Regrets

Be bold and courageous.

When you look back on life,
you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the one's you did.

Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.

Remember no one makes it alone.

Have a grateful heart and be quick to acknowledge those who helped you.

Take charge of your attitude.

Don't let someone else choose it for you.

Visit friends and relatives when they are in hospital;

you need only stay a few minutes.
Begin each day with some of your favorite music.
Once in a while, take the scenic route.
Send a lot of Valentine cards.

Sign them, 'Someone who thinks you're terrific.'

Answer the phone with enthusiasm and energy in your voice.
Keep a note pad and pencil on your bed-side table,

Million-dollar ideas sometimes strike at 3 a.m.

Show respect for everyone who works for a living,

regardless of how trivial their job.

Send your loved ones flowers. Think of a reason later.
Make someone's day by paying the toll for the person in the car behind you.
Become someone's hero.
Marry only for love.

Count your blessings.
Compliment the meal when you're a guest in someone's home.
Wave at the children on a school bus.
Remember that 80 per cent of the success in any job is based on our ability to deal with people.

Don't expect life to be fair
.

Words Women Use

Words Women Use

Fine

This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

Five Minutes

If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour.

Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given 5 more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

Nothing

This is the calm before the storm. This means "something" and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "fine".

Go Ahead

This is a dare, not permission, DON'T DO IT!

Loud Sigh

Although not actually a word, the loud sigh is often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".

That's Okay

This is one of the most dangerous statements that woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

Thanks

This is the least used of all words in the female vocabulary. If a woman is thanking you, do not question it, just say you're welcome and back out of the room slowly.

Send this to the Men you know and want to help, or to the Women you know for a laugh.
!

This is cute I hope it makes the trip to your computer

Know Ur Value....!

Know Ur Value....!

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rupee 500 note.

In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this Rupee 500 note?"

Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you
but first let me do this." He proceeded to crumple the note up.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?"

Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and
started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now all
crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not
decrease in value. It was still worth Rupee 500/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as
though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose
your value.

You are special. Don't ever forget it! Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

"VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED"

Breathtaking view of St Marteen Airport

HERE are some photos of St Marteen Airport. The planes impress most people on the beach, flying over just seconds before touching down at Princess Juliana airport. Paradise for the beach lovers, having a lovely tropical beach, and for the aviation fanatics that spend hours on end observing the very low flying skills of giant commercial plane pilots.
